COURSE SUMMARY
Easy running on a flat course, with some small undulations around Mount Maunganui to keep it interesting. The course offers a mix of running terrains including 11% smooth hard packed dirt trail and 89% sealed road surfaces. Walkers are welcome to enter in the Half Marathon. Please ensure walkers start at the back behind the runners and keep to the left at all times.

Timing mats will be located at all start lines and at the finish line. All timing results will be available online by age group category and will be based on participant's mat time.

The 21km event will be well supported with 6 aid stations located along the courses. Aid stations will be at the following km marks and will be stocked with the below:

BAG CHECK
There will be a bag check service available at the finish area.
You must NOT drop any gear at aid stations or anywhere on the course for later retrieval. Please collect your bag by 1:00pm before you leave the event finish area. Any remaining gear will be taken back to our event warehouse until 10 days after the event and if not collected by this time will be donated to Charity.

All awards and spot prizes are awarded at the prize-giving which will take place at 12:30pm at Mount Maunganui, Main Beach. All competitors will be eligible for spot prizes and these will be randomly drawn at the awards. All half marathon finishers will receive a Finisher Medal. Non-monetary prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, 3rd placing in each age group category for Men and Women, and will be based on participants mat time. The age group categories are as follows for men and women; 16-19 years, 20-29 years, 30-39 years, 40-49 years, 50-59 years, 60-69 years, 70+ years.

Late entries will be accepted at the Mount Surf Club on Friday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm and on Saturday from 6:00am to 7:30am. All late entries will incur a $10 late fee. No eftpos available, cash only.

CUT OFF TIMES
If competitors have not passed the below points along the route by the below times, the Traffic Management team may move competitors onto the footpath for the remaining portion of your event.
